There’s almost too much happening during Saturday’s Fall Gallery Walk and Bike Swarm to allow for easy navigation, so here’s what you need to know: Just block the whole damn day out. Seriously. Thirty-five of Dallas Arts Dealers Association’s galleries and spaces are participating with extended hours and a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to that flurry, Deep Ellum has thrown its geography into the mix by adding 14 of its own galleries to the lineup. But wait, there’s more: A bike swarm has also been arranged with various meet-ups and hop-offs, one of which include a visit to Burger Fest, an event that mashes up your two favorite words. Not to be left out of the day’s events, the Dallas Love Project — that group that’s compiling thousands of love-rooted artworks to line Dallas’ windows during the JFK memorial events — will have pieces hanging at select DADA spaces. So go ahead, take a sneak peek at what’s to come. You’ll want to visit dallasartdealers.org and our arts blog, Mixmaster, for the full rundown of times and participating venues. The whole thing is free.
