There are few moments as frustrating in a young teenager’s life than trying to decipher the works of William Shakespeare. They use what appears to be English but in a totally unorthodox order with words that look like they are only used by people who really want to prove that their English degree is worth something. If you’re one of these struggling English students, we sympathize and are here to help. Maybe all you need is to hear someone else read it to you who isn’t an exasperated civil servant or underpaid private school employee. The Winspear Opera House is holding a staged reading of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus, the story of a Roman hero’s fall from grace, at 3 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday. The best part is if you’re a student, you can get in for free. Even classically trained Shakespearean actors know the slings and arrows of a high school British lit class. Not a student? It’s a mere $10. The Winspear Opera House is located at 2403 Flora St. in Dallas.
