Sure, it’ll take five years to accomplish, but when all is said and done, the complete works of William Shakespeare will all have been performed in our fair city on one stage. A collaboration between the AT&T Performing Arts Center and Shakespeare Dallas, the complete works of William Shakespeare will take stage at Hamon Hall (located inside the Winspear Opera House) in a series of sonnet readings and understated play performances showcasing the Bard’s work. Closing out the first year of this venture, which has included earlier performances of Much Ado About Nothing and Othello, is the always controversial The Taming of the Shrew. A tale within a tale, The Taming of the Shrew is Shakespeare’s comedy about converting the awesomely independent Katherina into an obedient wife, aka the source material for Kiss Me Kate and 10 Things I Hate About You. Check out The Taming of the Shrew at 7 p.m. Monday at 7 p.m., at Hamon Hall (2403 Flora St.). Tickets are $10. Call 214-880-0202 or visit attpac.org.
