Are you a red state suburban housewife sick and tired of sitting idly while your bubba red state husband watches Larry the Cable Guy and Fox News? Do you long for an evening of interpretive dance? Then drag that bubba to the Orchestra Hall at 4401 Trail Lake Dr. in Fort Worth for Guns and God, a multimedia dance performance put on by Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth. If your man really watches Fox News, then he'll be gullible enough to believe it's a Christian gun show. And if someone does tip him off, just lie and say the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are dancing to some Toby Keith songs around a big bonfire of burning Dixie Chicks CDs before the big finale, where the girls high-kick, Rockettes-style, to the tune of the "Trucks, Trucks, Trucks" song from Burton Gilliam's Rodeo Ford commercial. Showtime is 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15, $8 for students and seniors. Visit cdfw.org.
Fri., March 2, 8 p.m.; Sat., March 3, 8 p.m.
