Comedian Jim Norton is probably best known for his appearances on The Opie and Anthony Show, where he wastes his talents for the benefit of people listening from their mothers' basements. He's also apparently an occasional correspondent on The Jay Leno Show, but we avoid that comedic resting home, so we haven't caught any of his segments. Honestly, we'd rather remember Norton for his appearances on the remedial version of Politically Incorrect that was Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn, or for his brilliant turn as Rich on Louis CK's short-lived but hilarious HBO sitcom Lucky Louie. Shortly after the show's run, we caught him at the Addison Improv, where he worked so blue that we wanted to take a shower afterward (though it was quite funny). He'll return to the scene of the crime this weekend, with shows at 8 p.m. Thursday, 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, and 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $22. The Improv is located at 4980 Belt Line Road, Suite 250 in Addison. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improvclubs.com for more info.
