If your name is Clark Griswold, stay far, far away from The Old Red Museum until further notice. On display in the first floor special exhibits gallery are a dozen Christmas trees decorated by Dallas nonprofits. You can "vote" for your favorite by dropping a donation in a box near the tree. Habitat for Humanity, North Texas Food Bank, DIFFA, Paws in the City, Friends of the Dallas Public Library and the Girl Scouts are just some of the participating organizations. Deck the Halls at Old Red will be open through January 3 at the museum, located at 100 S. Houston St. Visit oldred.org for more information.
Mondays-Sundays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: Nov. 21. Continues through Jan. 3, 2009
