It's never done. But the work of many women in places such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya is beyond endless. They scratch the ground with sticks to plant vegetables. They carry heavy loads on their heads and jerrycans of water on their backs. All while caring for their men and children in the midst of war, famine and disease. See 35 sepia-toned photographs of the hardest-working women in the world in Women's Work: Images From Africa, a collection of photographs taken in 2006 by photographer Roger Moore, now on display (through April 30) at Studio 105 at South Side at Lamar, 1409 South Lamar. Never whine about housework again. Admission is free. Call 972-333-6482.
