Spend your evening getting all cultural and stuff at Late Nights in the Arts District. While you’ll find a million happenings scattered among the Crow Collection of Asian Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art (1717 North Harwood St.), things will only get seductively French over at the DMA. To celebrate its newest exhibition, Posters of Paris: Toulouse-Lautrec and His Contemporaries, the evening kicks off with classic French pop songs by Diana Dill Savage and carries into to an outdoor screening of the 1928 film Moulin Rouge, featuring cat-growly actress Zsa Zsa Gabor. Somewhere in the middle you’ll be invited to marvel at the acrobatics of Lone Star Circus, listen to orchestral rock locals Buffi Jacobs and Anaphase and create art with your senses. Mini-Monets are invited to attend too, and if they’re really mini (like maybe even fun size), take ’em over to Yoga for Kids and Bedtime Stories with Arturo. Late Nights is 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and spans the whole Arts District. Admission is $10 or less. Visit dallasmuseumofart.org for more info.
