Now, there is a Nancy Nichols who works at D magazine and writes about food and taught me a hell of a lot about hockey, once upon a time, but writing about husband-hunting--don't think so. This Nancy Nichols, the one who is signing copies of her book at Barnes & Noble (5301 Belt Line Road) from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, is some kind of man-trapper. At least that's what you might glean from her new self-helper, Secrets of the Ultimate Husband Hunter: How to Attract Men, Enjoy Dating and Recognize the Love of Your Life. So for those who think there aren't enough straight-to-Oprah relationship books out there--or never tire of titles like How to Make Your Relationship Work, How to Love Someone You Can't Stand or How to Lose Friends and Alienate People--attend the book signing, and learn new tricks about how to bag the husband you want. Can't imagine there's much left to say about relationships, but if there is, you might find it Nichols' chapter titled "Never Hunt a Dead Animal" (and for God's sake, don't have sex with it). Call 972-980-0853.
