Mystery Thyme

Herbs. It's a word with a controversial "H" (just ask Eddie Izzard), but shockingly enough, herbs are also an intricate, necessary and dynamic element for mystery. No, not a mystery like "What's in this? Tarragon?" but actual literary works of whodunit-ness. Native Texan mystery author Susan Wittig Albert will discuss her new book Spanish Dagger (part of the China Bayles series), herbs, shadow lurking and other mystery-related subjects during her discussion, Prime Thyme Crime: An Author Talks about Writing and Reading Mysteries, 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Albert will also sign copies of her book and attendees are encouraged to brown bag it. The Emily Fowler Central Library is located at 502 Oakland St. in Denton. Call 940-349-8774.
Wed., April 4, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
