Sometimes I bemoan growing up an American mutt, with no evidence of my ancestors' nationalities except a few vague stories of people on boats in cold weather. But I do know I'm a full quarter Norwegian, and I like to tell people my Norwegian blood is why I never get used to Texas summers. (In reality, of course, I'm just a big wuss.) I wonder how the artwork of Norwegian-born artist Gardar Eide Einarsson will feel, temperature-wise, hanging out in the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St., until Valentine's Day. The latest artist to be featured in the FOCUS exhibition series, Einarsson often explores the complex relationships between individuals and institutions. The exhibition is included in regular museum admission, which is $10, or $4 for seniors and students. For more information, call 817-738-9215 or visit themodern.org.
