In light of the U.S. Men's soccer team's fairy tale-like rise to the Confederations Cup finals for the first time in history, beating out Spain only to lose to Brazil (but hey, it's Brazil), it looks like it's becoming more and more acceptable for Americans to become soccer fans. So, though I've told you time and time again to support hometown boys FC Dallas, maybe what you really need is to experience a real game to see why football (not throwball) is the most beloved sport in the world. Get ready for a once in a lifetime game (at least around these parts) as international powerhouses Chelsea FC (from England) and Club America (from Mexico) come to town for the inaugural World Football Challenge. As an added bonus, you can arrive early and watch a broadcast of the AC Milan vs. FC Internazionale Milano game live on that ginormous video board before watching international fan faves Chelsea FC take on Club America 6 p.m. Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Tickets are $30 to $125. Call 800-745-3000 or visit worldfootballchallenge.com.
