Instead, 2 p.m. Sunday, see the Wrangler ProRodeo Championship at American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave., followed by a concert from Kellie Pickler around 4 p.m. The event benefits Children's Medical Center Dallas (it'll help tons of kids and should include the many children affected by Kellie Pickler Boob Jobitis. Symptoms, of course, including permanently burned retinas and irreversible hearing damage resulting from Kellie's premier boob job performance on American Idol). Tickets are $20 to $95. Alice Laussade writes about food, kids, music, and anything else she finds to be completely ridiculous. She created and hosts the Dallas event, Meat Fight, which is a barbecue competition and fundraiser that benefits the National MS Society. Last year, the event raised $100,000 for people living with MS, and 750 people could be seen shoving sausage links into their faces. And one time, she won a James Beard Award for Humor in Writing. That was pretty cool.
