To help finance the November relaunch of the quarterly magazine Art Prostitute (which features interviews with and works by modern artists) in hardback, The Public Trust needs a little help from its art-loving friends. Five local artists--Steven Hopwood-Lewis, Misty Keasler, Margaret Meehan, M and Brent Ozaeta--will attend the one-night-only event, A Little Help From My Friends, offering an outrageous bargain on their original prints: Five for $100. There's also DJ Sober on turntables and a Record Hop performance at 9 p.m., and it's all free! The benefit starts 6 p.m. Saturday at The Public Trust, 2919-C Commerce St. For more information, call 214-760-7170 or visit trustthepublic.com.
