Bonnie Raitt popped up on the music radar of the general public in 1990 when her album Nick of Time got her crowned Queen of the Grammys, and she began her nausea-inducing stream of tepid ballads on adult contemporary radio. But die-hard Raitt fans love her for the nine albums she released before Nick of Timewhen she was a hard-living brassy blues musician, and her only real claim to fame was playing the spunky red-headed sidekick to Jackson Browne during the No Nukes craze. That's a shame, because her big-bad-blues mamma jamma routine was a million times more enjoyable than yet another lifeless rendition of "I Can't Make You Love Me." Bonnie Raitt performs Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Bass Performance Hall, Fourth and Calhoun streets in Fort Worth. Tickets are $45 to $75. Call 1-877-212-4280 or visit basshall.com.
