When you think of "graffiti" and "trains," you probably imagine some subway station tagged to hell, but rail graffiti is a tradition that goes back to a time way before Sharpies and spray paint. Before there was Haze and Banksy, there was Bozo Texino, the mysterious hobo(s) who tagged boxcars everywhere for over 80 years. Filmmaker Bill Daniels spent 16 years searching for Bozo and learning about the secret society of hobos and rail workers, with all of this work culminating in the black and white documentary Who is Bozo Texino? Webb Gallery (209 W. Franklin in Waxahachie) presents a one night only screening of the documentary, along with a signing of Daniels' Mostly True, a new book about railroad folklore (designed like a pulp magazine from the '30s) this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Call 972-938-8085 or visit webbartgallery.com.
