I agree with the first two posters. The food is wonderful, the staff, not so much. Save for one male host at the front door, the rest of the staff at the Plano Breadwinners could use some lessons in hospitality, or to crack a smile every now and then. This is Texas, not New York...learn some manners!

I actually find it to be sassy...not rude. What better way to spend a hungover Sunday than to play agrue with your regular bartender? Everyone should really just relax...we're the ones who get to be waited on and hopefully enjoy a relaxing weekend, while these poor kids have to jump whenever anyone snaps their fingers. Granted, they did pick the service industry, but we as customers really just need to be more understanding.

I couldn't agree more! The staff is rude consistently throughout their restaurants, I began dining with them uptown which is where I lived when I was single, now I am in Plano and married, my Husband who ALWAYS wants to go there grabbed my hand and said "let's go and we're never coming back here again!". We walked out after being served coffee at the bar in dirty cups, we asked for clean cups and were given filthy looks and then the cups were slammed down in front of us. All while we were waiting for a table. The food is fair, the service is so bad though that it is not a pleasant experience. If you ask for anything, bread, a clean fork, a clean coffee cup, more coffee, you are met with a huff and even worse service, how dare I ask for clean cutlery! What's with the chip on the shoulder? If you don't like people, if you are unhappy with yourself, work it out with a shrink instead of ruining an innocent persons meal! We will never be back to Breadwinners and will be spreading this gospel to prevent others from experiencing this type of lame excuse of hospitality and then be expected to tip well for it!

Yea, but it is the service, the rude employees that would step over you if you fell to the floor choking that make me never want to spend $20 for a breakfast ever again. The food is great, the waiters/ waitresses are by far the rudest people in Uptown. Makes me agnry thinking about it. The appetizer bread basket isn't as great when it's given to you after you ask for it befor eyour check is brought to you.
