I have visited Taj chatt house a couple of times..I woudn't suggest any one by saying that the food is really good.Last week when I went in there they served stale Sambar(a south Indian dish )and when we took this upto the owner Mr shekar Srinivasan...or somebody like that he is so defensive about the comments what the customer gives in.He is too unfriendly and acts like a unjust owner and acts like we customers need to take any crap from him..I guess he thinks that there is no need to treat a customer in a good way and eat the crapy and stale food he serves us...

Bhel puri is my absolute favorite. I'm one of those who just randomly ordered off the menu. Bhel puri is a bunch of crunchy stuff with pickled mango, onions, potato, cilantro, and some sauces mixed together. Very refreshing. If you get it to go, not mixed, you actually get 2x as much, but I feel bad about that since it's only $3 in the first place and they're so nice. I'm addicted to this place!

If you can enjoy good (or shall I call it the best) taste of Indian snacks (or Tiffins), Taj Chaat House is THE place to visit. It doesn't have any flashy menu cards or well decorated environment. But the food is awesome. What I like the most is consistency in delivering the taste. If you don't mind sitting with lot of people around (and noise added), specially on weekends, this would be the place to go.

I travel a lot for work and always try indian cuisine no matter what city I am in. This restuarant may look very simple but I tell you what, the food is excellent. I keep going back - one of my favorite places in the DFW metro area. Dishes tried:- Dahi Puri (5/5)- Pani Puri (2.5/5)- Vada Pau (4/5)- Chole & Mulli Paratha (3.5/5)- Salty Lassi (2/5)- Sugar Cane juice with Lime & Ginger (5/5)
