Ok, this has to be a joke, right? Either that, or the Granada has paid you guys off. Or it's possible that nobody with the Observer has actually seen a show at the Granada, because it is easily the worst mid-size venue in Dallas.

The thing they do have going for them is fantastic acts. They really get top notch bands to come in and perform, so truly, nice job there.

However, there are inappropriately long delays getting people through the door for no reason, inexplicably high temperatures during the summer (like ungodly hot - you have to turn the AC on before people start coming in, guys), the sound is passable to awful (anyone go to the Hold Steady show? Embarrassingly bad.), and they gave a credit card belonging to my friend to some rando, and another friend had her toenail ripped off her foot by the women's bathroom door.

The Granada sucks, guys. The Palladium and HOB absoultey put it to shame, and this nomination or award is a disgrace.
