Cowboys Kicker: It's David Buehler's Job to Lose
As we'll do Friday at noon, Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan Newy Scruggs and I visited with Dallas Cowboys' vice president Stephen Jones.
We asked him about Flozell Adams and Doug Free and Jared Gaither and Brandon Marshall and the fall of Texas Stadium and NFL overtime and, oh yeah, we asked him about the team's kicking position.
Last year the Cowboys cut Nick Folk and had a bitter cup of coffee with Shaun Suisham. Heading into next week's draft and looming OTAs and minicamps, it feels like it's David Bueher's job to lose.
"I think that's fair to say," Jones said.
In a perfect, efficient world, Buehler would handle kick-offs and field goals. Of course in a perfect world we wouldn't need a wife and a girlfriend, but ...
Even with Chris Boniol working with him, do you think we'll bre able to trust David Buehler?
