The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers won't arrive until next week. But, make no mistake, Super Bowl XLV kicks off today.
Precisely at 5 p.m., with the opening of the NFL Experience at the Dallas Convention Center.
Drew Pearson will be on hand. So will Mayor Tom Leppert. And, if all goes smoothly, tens of thousands of football fans excited to check out 75 interactive games, food, player autographs, all 44 Super Bowl rings and, of course, the actual Lombardi Trophy.
You can kick field goals through NFL uprights or get timed in the 40. And it's all spread out over 850,000 square feet.
I'm hearing people say they can't wait for Super Bowl week to start on Monday. By then they'll be late to the party.
A slice of the Super Bowl for $25. Enjoy.
