New Year's Eve usually means party hats, noisemakers, and booze. Take all of those things, throw in a handful of comedians, and you've got the New Year's Eve celebration at The Backdoor Comedy Club. To ring in 2011 the right way, the club is hosting Paul Varghese, Raj Sharma, Chris Brown (not THAT Chris Brown...) and Linda Stogner for a night of comedy and laughs that will surely be a great start to the new year. The club has scheduled two shows (at 8 and 10:30 p.m.), so even if you have the bar scene in mind, you'll still have time to hit it up before or after the show. Tickets for the first show are $27; tickets for the late show are $43, which gets you party favors, a free pass to a future show, a champagne toast at midnight and dancing after the show. For tickets or more information, call 214-328-4444 or visit backdoorcomedy.com.
Fri., Dec. 31, 8 & 10:30 p.m., 2010
