If you're like me, when you first saw Mrs. Doubtfire, you had two thoughts and two thoughts only: first, "I miss Mork & Mindy," and second, "This movie would have been a lot better if it were about nuns." Well, glory, glory, hallelujah, the Richardson Theatre Centre is here to save the day with Nunsense A-Men! It's a remake of the original Nunsense show that's automatically 15,000 times better because it features dancing, singing men in drag. And, come on, any play that can be accurately summed up as "Mrs. Doubtfire meets Sister Act meets America's Got Talent, minus Sharon Obsourne and her squeaky voice" is a show you don't wanna miss. Nunsense A-Men opens tomorrow at the Richardson Theatre Centre, 2701 Custer Parkway, and runs through September 29. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with two 3 p.m. Sunday matinees on September 9 and 24. Tickets are $20 for Thursdays and Sundays or $22 for Fridays and Saturdays, with senior discounts available. For more information, call 972-699-1130 or visit RichardsonTheatreCentre.org.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., Sept. 9, 3 p.m.; Mon., Sept. 24, 3 p.m. Starts: Sept. 1. Continues through Sept. 29, 2007
