That’s followed by the Texas premiere of Takashi Miike’s (of Ichi the Killer and 13 Assassins fame) video game-based courtroom drama, Ace Attorney, about a world where trials are treated like the Super Bowl, which screens at the Magnolia Theater at 8:30 p.m. The opening party is open to the public but requires RSVP. Tickets to Ace Attorney cost $12.50. The Stoneleigh Hotel is located at 2927 Maple Avenue; the Magnolia is at 3699 McKinney Avenue. For more information, visit asianfilmdallas.com.
