The Lee Blessing play Two Rooms is set in the 1980s, but its story is happening, at least for someone, even today. This politically charged love story simultaneously documents and humanizes the experiences of a man taken hostage in Beirut and his grieving wife in America. The two roomsone in America and one in Lebanonboth contain frustration and great heartache, despite being worlds apart. Quad C Theatre presents Two Rooms at 8 p.m. Tuesday through October 21, with performances at 2:15 p.m. October 21 and October 22 at Black Box Theatre, 2800 Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The October 19 performance will be sign-interpreted for the hearing impaired. Admission is $6 to $8. Call 972-881-5100 or visit quadctheatre.org.
Oct. 17-21, 8 p.m.; Oct. 21-22, 2:15 p.m.
