Lines, circles, squares, cubes and cylinders jump, jet, pop and plow their way on stage. Pinks, reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and violets expand and shrink, expand and shrink, swirling together as one artistic vision. A balloon swallows a young woman and takes her away. You blink your eyes and suddenly everything disappears. All that is left is a single, solitary red cube. Was it all a dream? No, it was just Fred Garbo and Daielma Santos with their Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater Co. Join the illusionist and his beautiful ballerina as they bring to you an internationally known production full of innovative inventions, slapstick comedy, dancing, juggling and yes, even a magical changing wardrobe. The show has appeared at the Hong Kong International Arts Carnival, the Kennedy Center, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and sold out to audiences at the New Victory Theater on Broadway. Forget bunnies and black hats and sawing sexy assistants in half. The inflatables are the new magic in town. The show takes place 6:30 p.m. Monday at Bass Performance Hall, Fourth and Calhoun streets in Fort Worth. For more information, call 817-212-4325 or visit fredgarbo.com.
