If there's one thing we can tell you from looking at tons and tons of art show press releases every week, it's this: Contemporary art is infinitely more interesting to look at than to read about, especially if there's free drinks and hors d'ouvres involved. Luckily for you, this weekend affords you a rare opportunity to check out almost everything the Dallas art scene has to offer in one fell swoop. The Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas—or CADD—is an organization of the city's best galleries, including And/Or Gallery, Conduit Gallery, The Public Trust, Road Agent, Craighead-Green Gallery, Holly Johnson Gallery and many (well, several) more. This weekend they'll join together for the second annual CADD Artfair 2008 at Three Three Three First Avenue, located at (where else?) 333 First Ave. Admission is $10 per person and includes a copy of the 2008 CADD Art Guide to Dallas; a portion of the proceeds goes to the CADD scholarship fund, which will award one deserving Booker T. Washington High School graduate this year. Hours are 12 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Visit caddallas.net for more info.
Sat., May 31, 12-5 p.m.; Sun., June 1, 12-5 p.m., 2008
