Oak Cliff artist Chris Bingham is a favorite around these parts, and it’s easy to see why. In his newest show, Art in Motion: An Ode to Graffiti, his nostalgic realism style is front and center, as he pulls inspiration from the graffiti on the streets to use in his works on the walls of the Norwood Flynn Gallery (3318 Shorecrest Drive). Art in Motion: An Ode to Graffiti is on display through January 5, as it runs concurrently with the Norwood Flynn Gallery Holiday Show. Get a first look at Art in Motion: An Ode to Graffiti at the opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, and while you’re there, be sure to get a little bit of holiday shopping done for the art lovers in your life. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays or by appointment. Norwood Flynn Gallery is free and open to the public. Call 214-351-3318 or visit norwoodflynngallery.com.
