We’re feeling so jacked about Dallas Handmade Arts Market, it makes us want to just … tip back our heads, belting “With Arms Wide Open” to the heavens. OK, nothing would make us do that. But we can hardly contain ourselves at Dallas’ first indoor art market, an ongoing weekendly place for local artists, crafters and designers to sell handmade items. To us! Each week, an ever-changing roster of as many as 50 local artists will squat at booths (art-makers, you can rent one for a single weekend or multiples) and invite you to enjoy a little piece of local flair. It’s brilliant: Not all artists can afford to set up their own shops. But most can party now and again with local musicians and their adoring public. Even better — each weekend night culminates with a complimentary Wine Walk Saturday or Beer Browse Sunday, while supplies last. Get in on the good 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 327 Cole St. Call 214-914-4529 or visit dallashandmade.com.
Saturdays, Sundays. Starts: Sept. 2. Continues through Nov. 24, 2012
