Easy There, Jessica
We first met her as the rebellious, basketball-playing teenager on the show we all loved to hate (or maybe that was just me), 7th Heaven. Flash forward a few years and we got to watch her running for her life away from the disfigured, chainsaw-wielding mass murderer in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now she's best known as JT's main squeeze, her best role to date. If you haven't already guessed it by now, I am talking about the lovely Jessica Biel. You know, the girl that recently complained that it's hard being pretty--poor thing. In her latest movie, Easy Virtue, she plays a glamorous American racecar driver, Larita Whittaker, who marries a young Englishman on a whim in Monaco. He decides to take her home to meet his parents, who are played by the brilliant Kristin Scott Thomas and Colin Firth. Of course, like any good mother-in-law, she takes an instant disliking to Larita, while her husband warms up to his new daughter, which will make for some awkward family moments. Easy Virtue plays Friday through Sunday at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St. For ticket prices and showtimes, call 817-738-9215 or visit themodern.org.
