Everybody Loves a Panda
Did you cry during March of the Penguins? Of course you did. Nothing brings mist to the eye like the story of an animal’s miraculous journey through harsh natural elements against all odds. Plus, there’s almost nothing cuter than a baby penguin, except maybe a baby panda. As the beloved Chinese bears struggle to survive in the wild, a few good humans are going to great efforts to secure their homes and National Geographic caught it all on film for Pandas: The Journey Home 3D. After years of captive breeding, panda bears are being re-introduced to the wild and the first interactions with their natural environment will make you laugh, cry and let out unintentional exclamations of “aaaw.” See it at the Perot Museum on your lunch break at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday or on your way home at 4:40 p.m. Tickets are $6 for members and $8 for non-members. Visit perotmuseum.org for more information.
