At about this time last year, folks like Martin Sheen, Patrick Fugit and Robert Rodriguez descended on Fort Worth for the very first Lone Star International Film Festival. If you couldn't make it, or just couldn't get enough, there's good news: The LSIFF is back for its second year of film and fun in Cowtown. The five-day celebration starts Wednesday and promises to be chock-full of film screenings, parties and red-carpet moments. It all takes place in downtown Fort Worth's Sundance Square, which is located off Throckmorton Street, between Belknap and Fourth streets. The festival is hosted by the Lone Star Film Society, which hosts various film-related events throughout the year, and the good people of the LSFS have even set up a discussion board for the festival at lsiff.bside.com, where festival-goers can see the schedule, read film reviews and chat about festival highlights. Festival passes range from $70 for a 10-movie pack to $395 for a 5-day VIP access pass, or you can buy tickets to individual parties and events for $10 to $75 each. For more information or to purchase passes, visit lsiff.com.
