Thanks to that green-skinned Wicked Witch, The Wizard of Oz is a good kind of scary. Now there's a chance to take in a live-action stage version of the famed 1939 Baum-tastic classic with Casa Manana's production. This version comes complete with all the singing and dancing, little people talking about roads of yellow brick and Dorothy, of course. Barring a zombie apocalypse, don't go looking for Judy Garland in this production, but Casa Manana knows how to put on a show and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is still likely to make you cry. We'll all want to chime in with the Scarecrow, Lion and Tin Man and wishes to only have a... Venture off to see The Wizard Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through May 22 at 3101 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $16 to $18. Call 817-332-2272 or visit casamanana.org.
Fridays, 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 1 & 5 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: April 29. Continues through May 22, 2011
