If you are one of those people that scoffs at all of the love sick idiots who waste money celebrating a holiday almost completely manufactured by card and chocolate companies (and your lonely, bitter rant is just as obnoxious as all of those rose-wielding couples) then Valentine's Day at Backdoor Comedy club is right up your alley. However, if you are one half of one of those couples that doesn't want to celebrate St. Valentine's Day in the traditional manner, Backdoor Comedy Club too might be your date night destination come the weekend of the 14th. And finally, if you really never register that there is some sort of holiday that celebrates love and you just really want a chance to laugh, Backdoor would definitely be a solid choice for you as well. That weekend, the club will be hosting Paul Varghese and Aaron Aryanpur, both individuals whose comedic credentials make them more than worthy of headlining this auspicious holiday weekend. Tickets to any of the weekend shows include chocolates, a glass of champagne, and (the only non-cliche party favor in the bunch) a ticket to a future Backdoor Comedy event. Tickets are $25 and show times for the weekend are February 12, 8pm and 10:15pm, February 13 and February 14 at 8pm. For tickets and more information visit backdoorcomedy.com.
Sat., Feb. 12, 8 & 10:15 p.m.; Sun., Feb. 13, 8 p.m.; Mon., Feb. 14, 8 p.m., 2011
