The mid-’90s were an especially divisive time in fashion, and still everything paired well with a blazer or a wine cooler. Time loop back to that era of Clueless, Saved by the Bell and other guilty-pleasure adolescent indulgences on Saturday when the annual DFW Back to School Party drops a Jolly Rancher in your Zima. That’s right, they’re taking you back to 1996 to raise money for the Texas Youth Scholarship Organization, a group dedicated to furthering the education of disadvantaged youth by providing need-based funds for higher learning. Take whatever clothing avenue you like, although many sloppy high fives will be awarded to anyone dressed as Artie, The Strongest Man in the World from Pete and Pete. Shake your rump-ah down at the South Side Music Hall (135 South Lamar St.) at 8:30 p.m., and allow yourself some philanthropic flashbacks. Tickets cost $55 and include booze and late-night food.
