First and foremost, there’s an entire not-for-profit concern dedicated to the scientific research of said beast: The Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy. Second and secondmost, it’s hosting the 12th Annual Texas Bigfoot Conference this year at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Saturday. This ain’t no collection of nutjobs neither. It’s a legitimate gathering of some of the most qualified experts on the subject and each promises to offer fascinating, never-before-heard presentations on a variety of topics concerning the existence of a large bipedal ape. This year’s speakers include Destination Truth star Josh Gates, author and researcher Lyle Blackburn, Idaho State University professor Jeff Meldrum and more.
