Joan Rivers--the comedienne, red carpet fashion maven, QVC guest star and plastic surgery aficionado--lives to make fun of herself and pretty much everyone else. Joan was an instant fan favorite after her first appearance on The Tonight Show in 1965, and she's been shoving irreverence and self-deprecation in our faces ever since. She's written books, helmed talk shows and launched several businesses, including fashion jewelry and fragrances. She's currently on television and the London stage, and for one night she'll be at the Meyerson for Joan Rivers Live! The show will be classic Joan, which translates into bits about age and gravity. Your cheeks will undoubtedly hurt from laughing. Unless you're Joan, who won't feel a thing. Tickets are $30 to $80. The show is at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
