Maybe I Will! Gosh!
Thought Napoleon Dynamite might have been a History Channel documentary about a French emperor who's into explosives? We all did. It's not. But, a lot of people think it's still really good. Some even think it's worth more than a few viewings, so you should take the opportunity this Friday night to get more familiar with Pedro, Deb, Uncle Rico and Napoleon. And if you're the one person on the planet who hasn't seen this movie, you should wake up from that coma, crawl out from under that rock and check it out. Napoleon Dynamite is a winner of three MTV Movie Awards (which almost makes up for the fact that Efren Ramirez was cheated out of an Oscar). Written by Jared and Jerusha Hess and starring Jon Heder as Napoleon, the movie is full of great moments, from farting unicorns to talent shows. Oohand see if you can spot the part where the untalented Haley Duff somehow manages to ride the coattails of her untalented sister, Hillary Duff. That's priceless. Napoleon Dynamite plays at the Inwood Theatre, 5458 W. Lovers Lane, this Friday and Saturday night at midnight. Tickets are $8. Tots offered in trade for tickets will not be accepted.
