Break out the citronella, grab a blanket and bring the popcorn as Addison presents yet another event to convince people they should be in love with the town. If you're tired of taking out a small business loan to go to the movies lately, Addison does increase its appeal by offering movies in the park for free. Now you can pack up those sodas and candies without hiding them in multiple pockets and mega purses. Not that I would know anything about that. Saturdays in June (plus July 3) offer Cinema in the Circle where everything else in the town takes place, Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle Drive. This week's showing, hopefully not indicative of the weather, is the mighty fine classic, Singin' in the Rain starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and the amazing Donald O'Connor. Shows begin at 9 p.m. Visit addisontexas.net for further information.
Sat., June 23, 9 p.m.
