But they do exist, these winemakers and experts who take the lowly grape and elevate it to the highest, most respectable quality. Jefferson Wilkes, of J.Wilkes Winery, is such a person. He'll be in Colleyville for a reception, informative talk and four-course meal, pairing his California coastal wines with haute cuisine. Suddenly the grape doesn't seem so lowly anymore. The J.
