How many times have you thought to yourself, “Why can’t I find a way to combine my appreciation of fine craft beers with my proclivity for financial do-gooding?” Well, now’s your chance to put your money where your mouth is, because the Best Little Brewfest in Texas has done all the work for you — just show up. The craft beer festival turns the Texas Motor Speedway into an adults-only afternoon of brews, bands and benefits, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association and teen suicide prevention charities. There will be more than 150 beers to choose from, and locals like Deep Ellum, Community, Franconia and Independent Ales will be joined by big dogs including Lagunitas, Dogfish Head and Brooklyn, so pick your designated driver and head to the Texas Motor Speedway (3545 Lone Star Circle in Fort Worth) Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. Admission is $30 to $35, with special VIP perks available for $75.
