The Fellowship

I wouldn't go see a play about Reese Witherspoon (boring!), but I am somewhat interested in the play Miss Witherspoon, playing this week at the Unity Church of Dallas, 6525 Forest Lane. Sure, the basic description offered in the press release¬ó"a provocative comedy by Christopher Durang about life, death and reincarnation"¬ódoesn't sound all that interesting, but then you get to the plot, which involves Miss Witherspoon traveling to and fro between "the earth and the great beyond" with Jesus, a Hindu spirit guide and Gandalf. If there's a scene where he fights a giant fire-breathing demon while falling down an endless hellpit, I'm totally in. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, with a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call 972-233-7106 or visit
