So … Silence of the Clams … that’s a thing. … Well, it’s a play actually. One that takes place at the Rose Room Theater inside S4. Everything makes a little more sense now, doesn’t it? In this adaptation of the movie that made you hate face masks (you know, because you loved them so much before), our darling Clarice is even more butch and out to save Nancy Pelosi’s missing daughter from Beaver Bob, a serial killer who skins his victims “down there.” Needless to say if the words penis or vagina make you blush, this probably isn’t a show for you. But if you can say those words with a straight face and maybe even shout them in public, then get your bawdy little self over to S4, 3911 Cedar Springs Road, at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets range from $20 to $25 and can be purchased online at uptownplayers.org. You must be 21 or older to attend this show. And you gotta prove it, baby-face.
Fri., April 27, 8 p.m., 2012
