The War on Film
Everyone knows about the opium poppy, which gives us such exciting things as heroin and poppy-seed muffins. Although you probably don't even know as much about the well-publicized opium poppy as you think you do. Mockingbird Lane, brought to you by The Economist and the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. The documentary explores the history of the opium poppy and its place in the drug trade and also examines the roles of United Nations drug enforcement officers, drug czars, opium farmers and more.
