Stand-up comedian Pablo Francisco's knack for spot-on vocal impersonations and eerily realistic sound effects combined with his insightful skewerings of our modern pop-culture obsessed world have earned the former MAD TV cast member quite a reputation as a touring comedian. But of all the zany impersonations Francisco incorporates into his routines--ranging from melodramatic Spanish language soap opera characters to celebs like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Casey Kasem--the impersonation that he's best known for is his spot-on Don LaFontaine (aka the deep booming voice thundering over movie trailers past). Francisco's one-hour Comedy Central special Ouch! was well received and heavily requested, and there's a follow-up special due in 2011. He's also featured (alongside skateboarding legend Tony Hawk) in Disney's big-screen adaptation of popular TV series Kick Buttowski, but first Francisco performs at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, 8 p.m. Thursday; 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday; 6:30, 9 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday; and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $25. For more information, call 972-404-8501 or visit improv.com.
