Your dog loves you. Despite the fact that you forgot to restock dog food and gave her questionable leftover spaghetti to tide her over until morning, she loves you. Despite those times when you dragged her to trendy doggy hot spots that are more dude-bro than dachshund, she loves you. And despite that time you let her nails grow to a point that the vet tech chirped passive-aggressively at you as she pulled out the clippers, your dog loves you without question. So throw her a bone and plan a doggy-centric afternoon at the annual Dog Bowl in the Cotton Bowl at Fair Park, 3750 Cotton Bowl Circle, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Your loyal pooch can run the length of the historic field joyfully untethered, reveling in misting ponds and splash pools and pausing to pose for a keepsake pet portrait. And while she sniffs butts to her heart’s content, you can check out all the latest pet products, visit with veterinarians and even check out potential partners-in-crime for your canine friend at one of many adoption areas.
