He's got a really impressive range as an actor: He's played a pensive and somewhat depressed love interest in The Good Girl, he was a pensive and somewhat depressed love interest in Brokeback Mountain, he played a pensive and somewhat depressed kid stuck in a bubble in Bubbleboy and he was really brave to do that performance as a pensive and somewhat depressed Marine in Jarhead. I think he's been getting acting tips from the Man o' Range himself—that's right, folks. I'm talking about Matthew McConaughey. Hey—I'm not saying Jake's unhot. I'm just saying he's really good at looking like he's thinking. If you want to see Jake Gyllenhaal play a pensive and somewhat depressed kid who time-travels and has the scariest bunny ever as an imaginary friend, see Donnie Darko at the Inwood Theatre (5458 W. She created and hosts the Dallas event, Meat Fight, which is a barbecue competition and fundraiser that benefits the National MS Society. Last year, the event raised $100,000 for people living with MS, and 750 people could be seen shoving sausage links into their faces. And one time, she won a James Beard Award for Humor in Writing. That was pretty cool.
