Billy Joel is the jam, plain and simple. It's hard to not love the Piano Man but, I'll admit, he's made some mistakes in his life. No, I'm not talking about his automotive mishaps or the "she's young enough to be his daughter" wife--these things happen, people. Mistake No. 1 came to us in the form of "Goodnight Saigon," which in turn could be partially to blame for mistake No. 2, Movin' Out, the musical. It took me a while to forgive Billy for these crimes, but he's pushing it now with The Music of Billy Joel with Michael Cavanaugh, a Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra concert event this weekend at Bass Performance Hall, Fourth and Calhoun Streets in Fort Worth. Really, Billy? Unfortunately he won't be here to apologize in person, but if you want to watch the replacement Billy give it a shot, you can at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $26 to $78. Call 817-665-6000 or visit fwsymphony.org.
