So you love great design? We do too. A well-appointed home with personal style is ideal, for sure. The perfect couch is a challenge (I can attest to this after searching for one, re-covering, giving that one away, purchasing yet again and re-covering once more), the right paint can be an emotional victory and the perfect accessory will make your year. But--get this--your beloved Design Guide and Dallas Market Center can offer you not only a way to create dreamy vignettes, but a way to give back. The two are teaming up to present Designed With Care, a cocktail party and silent auction (can't wait to see what's in store there) benefiting the Children's Cancer Fund. The evening also finds Rhonda Sargent receiving the CCF Humanitarian Award. Tickets are but $45 in advance or $55 at the door, 5 p.m. Monday in the Hall of Nations at the World Trade Center, 2050 Stemmons Freeway. Tickets include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a raffle ticket. Additional event tickets are available for only $25. Additional raffle tickets are $20 and available during the event.
