Man, I sure did love NewsRadio. It was a smart sitcom in which great characters and performances ran rampant. But it would never have been the same without its resident fix-it man and conspiracy theorist Joe Garelli, played perfectly by the stone-faced Joe Rogan. Since the demise of NewsRadio, Rogan has gone on to make a name for himself playing to the lowest common denominator. He played co-host for the second incarnation of the brain-dead Man Show and then moved up to the big-time as the host for the moronic yet hugely popular reality show Fear Factor. His stand-up is sure to be rife with fart jokes, misogyny and cultural insensitivity, but if that sounds like your cup of tea, don't miss him this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road.
